QR code to check-in at club grounds

Effective January 2021, there is a change in the way that we are recording contact tracing. If you want to ride at our club grounds, you no longer need to use SignUp to book in. You now very simply log your contact details upon arrival to our grounds by scanning the QR code displayed on the door of the outside toilet. You scan the QR code by opening up your smartphone’s camera and allowing it to focus on the code. The smartphone will then identify the code and direct you to a form requesting you to fill in your name and contact phone number details. I am sure most of you will already be familiar with this method used by many businesses to record contact tracing. Every person who attends the grounds is required to scan the code. If you have a support person\partner\friend accompanying you to the grounds, that person will also need to scan the code to log their contact details. If you have any difficulties checking in via scanning the QR code, please contact Kerry Cooke (Pony Club Secretary) 0400 303 700. She will be happy to assist.

All of the same guidelines that we are well aware of still apply to riding at our grounds:

  • Members feeling unwell or displaying symptoms such as runny nose, fever, cough, sore throat or breathing difficulties must not come to the grounds;
  • Social distancing – avoid close social contact, keeping the preferred social distance of 1.5 metres away from each other;
  • Please keep a 4 metre distance between parked floats;
  • Every second yard to remain vacant;
  • Continue to use hand sanitiser;
  • The approach of “ride and leave”, minimising unnecessary contact remains.
